This is the road sweeper for professionals. The model is designed for those who drive really long distances and do so frequently. The sweeper is of outstanding quality and is primarily aimed at contractors, road associations, or those who offer road services. The road sweeper has completely different capabilities and settings than our other road sweepers; the rear wheels are designed to bomb the road and you get a hydraulic string spreader. The ability to adjust the wheels allows you to find the right settings for the best effect. A common problem when collecting grass from the edges is that it comes with grass clumps and other unwanted objects that pass through the cutter bars and get stuck in the swath spreader. You can easily avoid this by raising the swath spreader and "releasing" the grass clumps. Another advantage of the hydraulic system is that you can raise the swath spreader when reversing. The road scraper is equipped with a hydraulic front cutter that you can adjust yourself to the depth you want. This allows you to choose to scrape more or less material. You will often want to scrape more if you are maintaining a poor road. At the front of the road scraper is a piston that allows you to angle the scraper towards the roadside. This makes it possible to collect more gravel, allowing you to reuse the road's previous surface. This is particularly advantageous as today's tractors are getting bigger and bigger, making it more difficult to angle the scraper. With the V4-240, you have a hydraulic drive instead. The road scraper's load box can handle weights of up to 750 kg. The first cutter is serrated steel, which can be replaced with System 2000. This consists of carbide studs with a rotating movement pattern. The advantage of this is that the natural movements cause the metal to wear more slowly while tearing more material. This is particularly advantageous for hard-packed roads that have to withstand heavy or high loads from traffic.
